How to Spot a Roof Leak Early
Roof leaks often start small. Spotting the signs early can reduce damage and help you explain the issue clearly when requesting quotes.
Look for indoor warning signs
Brown ceiling marks, bubbling paint, damp smells, and water stains near chimneys or upstairs walls can all point to a roof leak.
Check the roof from ground level
Do not climb onto the roof. From a safe place, look for slipped tiles, visible gaps, sagging gutters, or debris after strong winds.
Act sooner after heavy rain
If the same area gets damp after rain, request help before the leak spreads into insulation, timbers, or electrics.
